Memorial Day Weekend

Kris and I went to Fall River with my family for Memorial Day weekend. We enjoyed the nice weather and took advantage of the great trails. We had a blast and are grateful that Bill lets us use his home. Here are some pictures of our weekend.

Our last morning we climbed the hill above the house. It is so beautiful. We didn't want to leave.
Colbe, Shay and Teag - the are so stinkin' cute on their motorbikes.

So the last day my dad thought it would be a "Hoot" to see me ride the little 4-wheeler while everyone else was on full sized 4-wheeler's. This is what it looked like. The hill was a lot steeper than it looks. I'm happy to make everyone laugh even if it is at the cost of my pride. It doesn't bother me one bit. So feel free to laugh at my expense!

New Hobby

So I am sure many of you have heard of Bumbles ... well, I have gone to a couple of different parties where you can purchase these watches but my mother in law thought it would be fun to just make them. Last Saturday I got together with Kris' mom and sisters and we made a bunch. It was a lot of fun and they turned out really cute. I am addicted now. Every store I go in to I look at the beads. Here a some pictures of what we made. It didn't get pictures of all of them because my battery went dead. I will take more later. Thanks Scott girls for getting together. I had a lot of fun. Leslie, we missed you.

NEWS!!!!

Kris and I have some exciting news....

Last December Kris left Wells Fargo to pursue a job at the site. He started applying before graduated from ISU in December of 2007 and we had many people tell us it took a long time but we didn't know it would take this long. We didn't think the day would come soon enough but he got offered a job! Yeah!!!!!!!! The Lord has truly blessed us. I am very proud of Kris and I know he will do awesome. He starts March 16th and will work 4 - tens (Fridays off). LUCKY! It is going to take some adjusting for the both of us be mostly him. He will have to be up at 4:30 a.m., on the bus at 5:30 a.m. and will be starting work @ 7:00 a.m. (all before I even get out of bed). I will miss having the convenience of seeing him on my lunch or having him drop by to see me at work but most things take some kind of sacrifice. We are excited for him to start his lifetime career.

Happy 3rd Anniversary! Tuesday was our anniversary. I must say........ I have the most caring, considerate, loving husband in the world. He is so sweet. The past 3 years have been amazing. I am so blessed to have him as my husband, my best friend and my soul mate. He means the world to me. Thanks babe for everything. I love you!

Ghost & Goblins, or something like that....

For the past few years it has been a family tradition to have a Halloween Party. The adults have only dressed up a couple of times. I can't find the picture from the first year so you only get to see pictures from this year. I'm sure you are all super sad...

Kris went as "Me" as a Bengal Dancer and I went as a vampire.
Nothing too special. I will post more later.
